CL thoughts: ManU totally outplays Arse midweek but only wins 1-0 because of some bad luck and Almunia awesomeness. I'll take it. Arse -- do one right for the forces of good and knock the Fergusons out this week. Please.

Chelsea parked 20 men behind the ball at Barca and escaped with a 0-0 draw. A totally gutless display. Messi, of course, is awesome, and I love him, but my favorite Barca player is Andres Iniesta. He looks like a 90lb weakling, but he's got unreal close control of the ball and great vision. At full speed the guy can trap and control the ball like it's made of glue. He's magnificent.

Speaking of Barca -- they just demolished Real 6-2 in Madrid. Sweet.

Pool makes me sad. We're going to not win the EPL because of those midseason crappy draws and the recent 4-4 home debacle with Arse; I had hope last week when ManU was down 2-0 to Spurs but they won the game 5-2. Natch. This year, the boys turned in some historically terrific performances, and we're better than ManU and they know it. All of which will ultimately be forgotten when ManU finishes tops.
