Finally! The Reds show what they can do!

Liverpool just played a magnificent first half against Villa, leaping to a 3-nil lead. Each goal was better than the last:
  • Goal one was Kuyt's, who made a fine finish of a nice cross.
  • Next goal was from my man Crouchinho, who, amidst three defenders, converted a feeble cross behind him into a brilliant shot. He reached back with his gangly leg and angled the ball perfectly into the near corner, beating the defender in front of him and the keeper. Awesome.
  • The last goal was fantastic in its buildup. Gerrard came forward in a lunging run, drawing the defense's attention, then backheeled it to Kuyt, who passed to Crouch, who occupied two defensemen and passed to a wide open Garcia on the left, who slotted home an easy score. A beautiful, electric buildup with a solid finish.

Liverpool controlled the entire half and dominated the game completely. Where has this team been all season?

On to the second half.
