Arsenal, with 10 men, beat Blackburn 2-0 nil away. The Henry-Fabregas-Henry give and go for the second goal was very, very pretty. The Gunners' defense was spotty, but they played with confidence and control otherwise.

Thankfully, Liverpool also won comfortably today, but those two Arsenal shellackings will take a long time to fade. Jesus. Of course, if they beat Chelsea next week, that'll do it.

I took a break for the holidays, and then, immediately thereafter, was shocked into silence with Liverpool's horrendous at home losses to Arsenal. Today, of course, the Reds surrendered six goals. I don't care if it wasn't the first team. Six goals. At home. What the heck is going on?
