Final score: 1-1. Those last ten minutes were insane. Chelsea absolutely poured it on. Essien missed from literally one yard, and Lampard hit the post after collecting an Lehmann muff.

Chelsea played better overall.

GOAL!!!

Essien scored an unbelievable goal from 40 yards out. What a strike!

FF

GOAL!!!!!

Flamini punches it past Hilario in a nice bit of passing!

1st half: Neither team has dominated, but Chelsea's had the best chances.

Not sure if I'll blog the second half -- the beer is starting to work its magic.

FF

Fourth ten: Chelsea beginning to assert itself. Fabregas saved a goal by blocking Essien's shot when Lehman could not bring down a cross.

Third ten: Cole booked for a challenge. Then Drogba laughably went down after a Fabregas tackle, but the ref saw through his theatrics. Tension is mounting. Chelsea's defense looks disciplined and assured. Arsenal is going to have to earn their goals today.

Second ten: Possession slightly favors Chelsea, and Chelsea's middle of the field power (as compared to Arsenal's superior width) is creating more chances. Arsenal's Senderos is also looking like a goal waiting to happen.

Chelsea v. Arsenal!

Arsenal: No Henry, Rosicky, Gallas, or Walcott to start.

First ten: Arsenal is controlling with measured midfield play, but Chelsea's defense is preventing any real threat from materializing.
